• Alanis Morissette, supported by her parents, sang and wrote songs prior to her teen age years.

• She became a member of a children's television series "You Can't Do That on Television."

• At only ten years old, she recorded her first original independent song.

• Morissette recorded for MCA and released her first Juno winning album 'Alanis" in 1991.

• In 1995, Alanis Morissette released the famous "Jagged Little Pill" album which sold over 15 million copies.

• Her lyrics and interpretational style earned Morissette the status of an international star.

• The song "You Otta Know" is listed as one of the top songs of the past 25 years.

• She has won or been nominated for several Juno awards and Grammys.

• Hosting the 2004 Juno show, she appeared in a skin-colored body suit to protest censorship.

• Alanis Morisette has become an experienced and respected singer/song writer.
