Most Canadians desire a world of peace. There's far too many battles on our planet taking money and effort away from the lives of ordinary people around the world.

ORDINARY HEROS

There is no "ordinary" in the heroes presented here except in terms of their backgrounds. These are Canadians who were placed in situations whereby they decided to improve in their work and do the best they could. They range in all types of occupations. A common trait is they gave of themselves to the point where they made a significant difference to someone in our society in one way or another. People admire and respect individuals who overcome problems they had to face and, in turn, make a meaningful contribution to our country.
