POLITICAL HEROS

It is difficult to select who are political heroes because, no matter who is chosen and what tasks he or she has completed, they still may not be accepted by the opposite side. Politics is usually not a chosen occupation but one where others convince the individual that he can play some kind of leadership role for our country. Politicians do not have an easy life and sacrifice many hours to the betterment of our country. Somehow many politicians do make historical contributions which the public may not realize until years later.
